Greenery Temples
Greenery Temples is a puzzle game made in Godot Engine 4 for Godot Wild Jam 58 (wildcard: Textless).
Become the guardian of the grasses and the green and stop the silent invasion of the desert. Build shrines to protect regions of your land and cast rain upon the desert to make it green again!
Rules
- Every couple of seconds you gain 4 energy points (green coins in the game) that can be used to do actions explained below.
- There are two types of tiles: dry and green ones.
- only on unbuilt, green tiles a shrine can be built
- only on dry tiles rain can be called
- tiles with paths on them cannot be build on nor can rain be called on them
- dry tiles expand to adjacent green tiles every couple of seconds
- Actions:
- Left Mouse Button - Call rain on dry tile (for 2 energy). This summons a rain cloud over the tile that over the span of a couple of seconds hydrates the ground around it in adjacent tiles.
- Right Mouse Button - Build a shrine on green tile (for 5 energy). Shrines block tiles in the radius of 2 tiles from ever getting dry again (as long as they are green already). Use them to block the expansion of the desert!
- The goal of the player is to fill all the tiles with grass within the time limit of 60 seconds.
- There are 3 levels for you to try!
